Market Opens:
Indian indices opened on a negative note on March 14 with Nifty around 21950.The Sensex was down 97.65 points or 0.13 percent at 72,664.24, and the Nifty was down 40.60 points or 0.18 percent at 21,957.10. About 728 shares advanced, 1752 shares declined, and 106 shares unchanged. Coal India, Hindalco, Reliance Industries, M&M and Infosys were among major gainers on the Nifty, while losers were Bajaj Auto, HDFC Life, Bajaj Finance, Tata Steel and Eicher Motors.
