benchmark indices ended higher with Nifty above 17900 on April F&O expiry day.

Bajaj Auto, Bajaj Finance, BPCL, Bajaj Finserv and SBI Life Insurance were among the biggest gainers on the Nifty, while losers included HDFC Life, HUL, Power Grid Corp, Adani Ports and Axis Bank.
