India stocks were lower after the close on Monday, as losses in the Metals, Green Energy and Auto sectors led shares lower.
At the close in NSE, the Nifty 50 declined 0.34%, while the BSE Sensex 30 index lost 0.28%.
The best performers of the session on the Nifty 50 were Tech Mahindra Ltd (NS:TEML), which rose 3.12% or 31.30 points to trade at 1,034.45 at the close. Meanwhile, HCL Technologies Ltd (NS:HCLT) added 1.48% or 15.90 points to end at 1,093.70 and Infosys Ltd (NS:INFY) was up 1.45% or 21.85 points to 1,525.50 in late trade.
